Summary:
Design, layout, and test advanced HF through mmW (VHF through V-Band +) integrated circuits and systems

Key Requirements:

Analog/RF integrated circuit and/or module, design and test experience
Strong circuit design and analysis skills using common CAD tools such as Spectre RF
Familiar with s-parameters, matching networks, transmission lines, etc.
RF/mwave bench/testing experience with spectrum/network analyzers/o’scopes, etc.
RF systems knowledge, including radar/communication signals and methods
BSEE + 5 years experience
US Citizenship is a MUST!
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Low power CMOS or BJT RFIC circuit design, layout, and test experience
Custom IC design and layout using Cadence software tools
Experience with Columbus AMS, Sonnet software tools a plus
RF/mwave assembly and testing techniques
Manual RFIC probing experience (e.g., Cascade Microtech probe station)
System-level RF design expertise
- radar, communications, sensor net systems knowledge
- assist with system/link analysis
- help specify RF/IF chain including component requirements
- MATLAB/Simulink expertise
Analog and mixed-signal design experience (including high-speed digital circuits)
Oscillator, clock recovery/PLL/DLL design experience a plus
Familiar with Xilinx design and use a plus
MSEE and 3+ years experience
Project management

Responsibilities:

Custom RF IC/module design, layout and test
- design using Cadence Spectre, SpectreRF, Columbus AMS, Sonnet
- lead/assist IC/PCB layout designers
- develop test sets and testing custom parts (chip through module/board)
Assist in corporate marketing efforts
- assist in identifying and writing proposals (typ. SBIR)
- support customer interface (meetings, design reviews) and marketing
